Our Founder

Meet Savannah Slotnick

Savannah Slotnick founded Egg + Dart after years in the design industry, where she noticed a gap between high-end, untouchable design and the way people actually live.

Savannah knew that there was a better way out there—one where home designs didn’t look all the same. Where living spaces felt like they had a personality, history, and a mix of high and low elements. Where you could unwind with your family or host cocktail parties, all in the same space. Thus, Egg + Dart was born.

Savannah’s creative vision started long before the business. Raised in a home where art was as essential as air, Savannah was immersed in the creative world at an early age. She became a classically trained violinist, learning the power of storytelling through sound.

Beyond music, it gave her a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, like the ease of playing a well-made instrument, the resonance of fine materials, and the way tradition and artistry come together to create a certain timelessness. These same values now guide her approach to design.

Known for her vision and versatility, Savannah expertly blends the influences of her upbringing with a respect for diverse design traditions, creating beautiful spaces that stand the test of time.

When she’s not designing, you’ll find her spending time with her two children and husband, hiking with girlfriends, or trying out a new recipe.
